The Rev. William Sasso ("Bill") has served as
minister of the Carbondale Unitarian Fellowship since August, 1999. He holds
advanced degrees in both ministry and business administration. In June, 1999,
after completing a five-year program of study, he was awarded the degree of
Doctor of Ministry (with distinction) by Meadville/Lombard Theological School
in Chicago. His doctoral thesis examined Unitarian Universalism and issues of
aging. In 2002, he was granted full fellowship in parish ministry by the
Unitarian Universalist Association's Ministerial Fellowship Committee.
